Financial Support

Few if any organizations offer so much for so little. Centro operates on a minimal budget and since we receive little if any government support, we rely on individuals, organizations and events for our funding.

You can help us by committing a contribution monthly, quarterly or yearly or just make a one-time contribution. If you are willing to contribute or pledge, please contact Patty at SCIC (562) 983-1665 and we will get a form to you or take your information. Every dollar helps!

Time

If you have time, Centro has only one full-time staff person, its program director.  We can always use volunteers including in the following assignments:

• Landlord/tenant counseling
• Consumer assistance
• Immigration
• Food Bank
• Clothing Center
• Receptionist/Office Work
• Computer Data Entry

Centro is also currently looking for a bilingual (Spanish/English) piano teacher to go with our donated piano.
